1991 & 2014 Air Jordan VI " Black Infrared"
As of today, the Air Jordan Black Infrared VI's retro today and I couldn't be any happier. These are one of my favorite Air Jordan sneaker models next to the Sport Blue & White Infrared colorways. With every retro, people will always complain no matter what. The shape is off, the quality isn't the same, I dislike/hate the blue tint soles, it's different materials, the previous years or first retros were so much better etc. No matter what, people will always find some way to complain about anything. I always found it that as long as they retroed certain sneakers, I was just happy they did so. That's my take and it will always stay that way. In the end, it's either you end up getting them or not.
I think people just dislike the lighter shade of pink which the 1991 pair was a darker hint of it. The 2000 retro was about the same and the 2010 package pair was varsity red, not infrared. As for the 2014 pair, it's a very light shade of pink is what people are seeing but I still don't mind it at all, because with each retro, they will always make a difference to help separate the previous and future years.
