Los Angeles, Day 3

My last day in Los Angeles wasn't quite planned as I thought it would be. Some plans went the way they were, while some wern't, but all in all I had fun really. The day started off actually heading to Azusa Pacific University for Jamal's game. Waited for Kamz & Maile to pick us up and since we were running on really limited time, we decided to eat at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Their scrambled eggs and waffles are always on point. Def worth the wait. Headed out to Fairfax area to meet up with Don, Esta, & E.p. I mean, I really didn't care as much what we did but as long as we meet up then it was all good with me. Left right after meeting up and headed back to Azusa Pacific Academy. Right when we got dropped off, Jamal was done with his game and went to this pastrami joint, but we didn't end up eating, but Karen, Jamal & his basketball team did. Waited in the car and rested a bit with Mindy.

Headed back to San Diego and their wasn't as much traffic going back. When we got back, rested for a bit and then we got picked up by Isaac & Andy. Both of them wanted to show some spots in San Diego since we didn't get to do it the other night. We ended up meeting up Ant as well and just did some night shooting and talked. The skyline and calm water made it even better. Afterwards, Ant decided to cut early and we decided to go downtown by the convention center and I must say, that place is really live at night. Not only that, it's really nice. Not a bad day really, it was just a bit too short. Their's so much that Mindy & I want to do out here. Hopefully the next time is just as great, but even better. I just wanna thank Kamz for driving around & Maile for tagging along. I really appreciate that very much. Thanks for Don, Esta, & EP for meeting up as well. Sorry John, we just didn't have much time as I thought we did, but at least we did meet up according to plans. Thanks for making me & Mindy's stay the best!

Los Angeles, Day 2

Day two being here in Los Angeles is just filled with excitement. Let me start off by saying that I finally got some rest. Not a lot but just a good amount to keep moving forward. Headed from San Diego towards Los Angeles, Pasadena. Karen, Jamal, Mindy, & I headed towards Azusa Pacific University which is very nice. Waited until we got picked uped by John, & Bluee and also met up with Kamz & Maile. This was the first time we actually met them, but known them for quite some time. Since we were running on time, we first went to the stores Mindy & I never actually went to so it was off to Illest store. When we first got into the store I asked first if it was okay to take pictures and Izzy, the lady who was working behind the counter knew who Mindy & I were. Izzy also knew our homie Gabe, talk about a small world. I also met Yogi, who I have been peeping his blog on Fatlace for quite some time and his photos are very nice. Talked for a minute and Yogi took our photo behind the Illest logo. Most def real nice and chill people.

After talking and taking photos, the next destination was RIF which is sneaker co-signment store. Now being an avid and very passionate person who loves sneakers, RIF is just mind boggling. Their inventory and selection was simply amazing. You can find some of the most rarest sneakers here. Since John knew the people who worked there, I was introduced to Johnny who I know from the message boards and I had no idea Johnny worked there. When John was joking around and being himself, John told them about my blog, and some how, the workers at RIF actually know my blog. Now anytime time anyone takes their time to look and view my work, that is what I appreciate the most. That right their makes me keep doing what I do. Thank you RIF workers.

Afterwards, Mindy & Kamz both wanted a tee from the Illest store. Both copped their tees and then headed out to Mel Rose and La Brea Area for more stores to check out. We ended up at Flight Club to see if their were anything good like last time, but this time, their wasn't really anything I wanted. Went to The Hundreds and we ran into Alexander Spits. A few years back, I copped his Open 24 Hours album and I had it signed by him. By surprised, Alexander remembered which was really cool. Since the stores are pretty close together, we walked first into this art gallergy which had some interesting art work. Second, we wanted to check out Supreme, but they were closed which I believe for some line drop or something. While walking back, I ran into Tyler The Creator. I was shocked and surprised that was him. They told me that he's always their which I still find really dope. Really funny dude.

Since majority of us were hungry, we ended up eating at Pinks Hotdogs. After waiting in line, getting our food, & sitting down to dine in, Pink's is not bad, actually pretty good. The food was really great, I ate it too fast and didn't get to finish my food and I hate wasting food. for some reason I couldn't finish it. Maybe if the wait wasn't as long, then probably it would be much better. Afterwards, we headed out to do some night shooting around Los Angeles. We first stopped by this hidden location of the Los Angeles skyline and it was an amazing view. Then we ended up at this street but still showed the skyline of Los Angeles and man, it's just a shocking and great view in general. Took photos for some time and then drove off to another hidden deep location which was in the cuts. Like it was this dark road, but when you reach the top, their was this bridge that had the highway leading towards downtown Los Angeles. We wern't done so we decided to go downtown and by my surprise, the next location was one of the locations I always wanted to photograph if I was ever in Los Angeles. It was with the bridge, highway and buildings of Los Angeles. It was just perfect in my eyes. Got some 7 Eleven and headed back to our hotel.

I was told that me & Mindy's day was going to be filled with pure joyness and excitement and surely enough, it was better then expected. From people knowing my photography, blog, meeting people for the first time, but knowing them for a while now, too a day with good friends that you consider family that you have great memories that will last a very long time. These are what making my time down here very limited really the best. I really appreciate that very much, I really do. Thanks to Kamz & Maile for taking their time for meeting up with us, greatly appreciated. Thanks, and I can't wait for tomorrow to see what is in for all of us!
