Sneakerpimps SF 2009

This was my first Sneakerpimps event, since I usually end up going to DXC, but since this was 21 and up, there weren't so many babies. Thanks to Greg for giving me the heads up about the pre-sale tickets. Must say the event was great, better then DXC in my opinion. Live performances from Jerneye, J Billion, & Clspe, not bad for 15 at all. Thanks to John for the $10 dollar San Fran crew neck sweater and two free shirts. Can't wait for the next event.

Few more things.

Lately been chilling with Mitch & KJ the last past few days. They introduced us to this new game called Moshimonsters. Yes I am on there and it's a very fun and addicting game because you earn Rox which is cash and you level up. Pretty interesting and fun game. If you like Neopets, this game website thingy is for you. I have also been playing N64 since I love old school games and what not. I always remember, old school never dies.








Mindy also recently got her haircut. She cut it short, at first it was something I wasn't use to because I have always seen her with long hair. It looks lovely on her.









I took this pano shot outside of my house since I haven't done one in probably the longest. Thanks Ron for getting me that PS son!



Mitch wanted me to take pictures and record him teaching class in San Francisco for Funkanometry SF, Company class. This was probably the most people I have seen him teach. There was also another guy who was recording. Pretty cool guy.

All a bunch of randoms that's smashed into one. Nothing that exciting I suppose.



Oh how I already miss you too much.

For starters, my bestfriend's cousin, who is also my friend as well, recently passed away. I mentioned it in another blog entry, but words couldn't express how I was feeling. I was shocked basically. The first time I meet Chad was in 2005. My bestfriend Jon & I wanted to go to Sun Valley Mall. From there I was introduced to Chad. From there it was on good terms, and never on bad terms. The first bottle he had bought me and Jon was Sky Vodka. You know the one in a blue bottle that you look in the light bulb and its clean. Many memories with Chad. I'll never forget his gaming foundation. I remember the time were you introduced me to F.E.A.R on PC. I ended playing it, but I was too scared, because shit kept popping up haha.

Jon and Jerome slept over my house for two days since Chad's funeral was in Vallejo. Such a hard and sad day. I saw my friend in his casket. It was so hard to watch you as many said there good bye. What was harder was the fact I kept hearing your mom crying out so load. When everyone gave there last good bye's, it was just too dang hard. That night Jon, Jerome, & I bought the same bottle you bought us in memory for you.









R.I.P Chad V. I'll miss you dawg.


Lately at Mitch's house he dug and found his old game boards, stuffed animals, and toys. He found a 1985 Monopoly set. Money is still crisp and the 2 first beginning properties are purple and not brown, Amazing.





Recently I have been playing Pogo's Monopoly game online. I'm almost at 100K + now which is great. I have tokens to buy real life items. If anyone is down to play monopoly online, just let me know. All information can be found on the very bottom of my blog.

Long Recap:
I wanted to stop by my local camera store to go get me a rocket blower and a wireless remote. I asked Ron & Zalo to see if they wanted to come since Ron loves Looking Glass Photo. Before picking them up, stopped by Jed's house to come pick him up. Afterwards, headed to Richmond Superior Court to pay off my speeding ticket. After waiting for who knows how long, headed out El Cerritto plaza to pick up Zalo and Ron. We all got hungry so we decided to go eat some Wing Stop. After eating we headed out to Berkeley for Looking Glass Photo.

Looking Glass Photo always has great camera items and lenses as always. Got myself a blower thanks to Mindy. Headed down towards the college campus since Ron and Zalo never actually checked out some of the spots. Checked out a few places. Ended up walking all over to kill time. Ended up going to a games and hobby place to get a new monopoly board, but ended up being a little more then what we expected. Headed back to Looking Glass Photo since Ron lost his eye piece.

Headed towards Toys “R” Us since there monopoly prices are cheaper. Ended up getting the original version which is great because it was cheap and we like things original. Played Monopoly for the longest that Ron and Zalo knocked out at my place. They thought online was going to be the same, they thought different hah!



This guy bought a Mark 5D II with 17-40mm f/4 L lens. Enjoying that little bad boy already.

Long Recap:
I wanted to stop by Fatlace for a minute after Mindy showed me a couple goodies on there site. Did a quick meet up (Thanks Ryan) so I could get some cash flow to go cop some goodies. Headed to Jed's house to chill. Waited for Carla to get ready, picked her up, and left. Prefect timing because we had hit carpool hours. Headed towards Fatlace, but when we got there, they were on lunch break or something. Ended up checking Japantown to look and what not. Saw Laarni working and said Hi to her. (If your reading this Laarni, Hi.) Mindy rather buy her watch from you instead of the other store.

Headed back to Fatlace to see if they were open. Ended up going quick because I was parked on some 30 minute tow away zone. Lucky enough, nothing happened. Got what I wanted from Fatlace. Left to go to Zalo's house so we all can go downtown and shop around. Saw Sean out of no where, but right when that happened, I got shitted on by a bird for the first time in my life. Shit was warm, yellow & white. Luckily it was on my hand, and not my clothes. Mindy had some hand sanitizer so thank god for that. I was pretty much paranoid through out the whole day because of that little incident.

After talking to Sean and Zalo for a minute, while Mindy & Carla were shopping, Sean had to go since he had to go eat out for dinner with his family or of some sort. Headed back to Zalo's, since it was getting cold and late. Found out that he had Xbox live back, which was great.

Run This Town

Mr. Gabriel Diaz aka watchmyhadouken.net finally came through with chilling. Decided to hit him up and to find out he was actually free. He was staying in South City with his cousin's Tessa. Pretty cool that she had graduated Cal State Hayward since I use to go there. When we got there, as always, it's great to see the person you wanna chill with in person. It's amazing how the internet can revolve and meet and greet people. Met his family members.

From there we waited for his Kuya so we can go eat. Ended up that we did wait for him, but he had to go. After waiting, we were all hungry so we ended up eating at Carl's Jr. Bought a chocolate shake for Mindy & I. Everyone else just had burgers & fries. Headed to Tanforan to go shop and what not. Went back to Tessa's house to chill most of the time. Most of use got hungry again so we got some KFC & Taco Bell. I didn't know KFC had this half gallon bucket drink for 3 dollars. Ended up getting it. Headed back to Tessa's house to chill and play Uno most of the time. Ended up leaving because Mindy was upset & we were arguing. Courtesy of some pictures go to Gabriel & Mindy.

I came to find that Jon called me with some horrible news. His cousin Chad V. passed away from an accident. This happened on Friday when he was coming back from work. At first I thought Jon was just kidding with me, fucking around you know? In my mind was he is either fucking with me or he's acting retarded as hell. Found out he wasn't joking at all. It's so hard to believe, I ended up kind of crying because I knew him more then JayR who recently passed away. Mindy ended up crying harder then me. Man such a tragedy for 2009, so many lives who we have lost. My prayers goes towards my best friend Jon Dumlao and his family.

Clear Lake Camping Day 002 & 003

It was pretty much the same thing as the first day except we stayed out more swimming and enjoying nature. I ended up not taking as much pictures as the first day because I wanted to Enjoy myself. I found out killing flies with a fly swatter is the greatest.
